How can I make AI-generated text feel more human with ChatGPT? And what is the best AI detector to test my text with?

AI tools are fantastic, but... AI-generated texts feels robotic. Even with tweaks, hitting that "human" sweet spot is hard.

I’ve experimented with tone, phrasing, and structure, but AI detection still catches on.

So, how do I craft AI-assisted content that truly resonates as human-written and scores 100% authentic?

This is an interesting topic. Check  https://quillbot.com/ai-content-detector&source=gmail&ust=1766562623128000&usg=AOvVaw2WlGXug2Ki4B6x3SOLBtq T"> https://quillbot.com/ai- content-detector

Also, you can:
- Add your own facts, stories and "emotions". AI can't make that up.
- Change tone and sentence structure. Avoid uniformed in length.
- Do a stylometric on your own documents of text. Apply that on the new AI-text.
- Add a joke. AI sucks at that.

Some AI detection tools I tested with a slight changed AI-text:
Quillbot - 100% of text is likely AI

ZeroGPT - Not good. Seems to mark everything as 20%+ AI-content

Right now, though, it doesn't seem to pass Quill Bot. But it might rely on the material being humanized, I merely used a really generic ChatGPT text.

No tool can guarantee complete undetectability across all AI detection systems. The effectiveness of such tools can depend on various factors, including the specific algorithms used by detectors and the nature of the content being humanized.

Another fresh approach might be to play around with emotional storytelling. AI struggles with conveying nuanced emotions, so try crafting narratives that evoke specific feelings or memories. You could prompt ChatGPT with something like, "Tell a story about the joy of a rainy day as if you were a child experiencing it for the first time." Then, edit it by adding personal reflections or quirks that make it uniquely yours.

First, a reality check: AI detectors are unreliable and inconsistent, and “100% authentic” scores aren’t a meaningful goal. What does help:

  • using AI for drafts, then editing manuall;

  • adding personal examples, context and opinion;

  • varying sentence length and structure;

  • writing with AI, not letting it finish everything.

The most human texts are usually AI-assisted, not AI-produced. If it genuinely sounds like you and serves your audience, that matters far more than what a detector says.
